Ibrahim Hieblo was born and raised in the City of Sirte, Libya for most of his life, with a dream to one day immigrate to Canada. His older brother’s friends spent many years studying in Canada at that time, and used to visit Libya in the summer to tell stories about the Canadian experience and how it was a melting pot of multiple cultures that seemed to get along quite well. As he grew older the thought of immigrating to Canada remained in the back of his mind but was not made a reality until sometime in 2011.

These positions involved working with complex legal issues in international law and firsthand exposure to global and international relation issues outside of his knowledge from the LLB program from his Law School, the University Of Benghazi, Libya. Ibrahim holds a LLM in International and Trade Law from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland, and MA in International Relations from University of Nottingham, England.
Upon arriving in Canada, he first completed a Diploma in Paralegal Studies from Herzing College and subsequent work placement to obtain first hand experience in providing legal services in Canada, he went on to complete his studies and Law society requirements resulting in being called to the bar in 2013, wherein he successfully passed examinations and became a Licensed Paralegal in 2013. As a Paralegal, Ibrahim worked in multiple roles in law firms and banks in various areas of law over the years, he was successful in learning the Canadian Legal System, its philosophies, the experience of the Profession and the stress management skills to cope with the constant changing areas of law.
After some time of practice he gained the comfort and confidence to pursue and complete his Master degree in the University of Toronto, Law school to become a fully licensed Canadian lawyer.
